Lead Salesperson

IstoVisio is recruiting a lead salesperson for syGlass software, the leading edge in virtual reality (VR) for research applications that is priced for the individual laboratory. syGlass provides insight into 3-dimensional image volumes collected using any modality (light and electron microscopy, CT scan, MRI, ultrasound, etc), with intuitive tools for annotation and quantification. The successful candidate will spearhead a sales team to educate potential users on the advantages in accuracy, insight and savings of time and money when viewing images in their native 3D using syGlass. We anticipate a rapidly expanding market with outstanding opportunity for professional growth with concomitant compensation.

The successful candidate should have good communication skills and visionary thinking about potential markets and applications for 3D VR software and analytics. Preferred candidates will hold a PhD in biomedical science and have experience acquiring, processing and quantifying 3D image volumes. They should be proficient with the Windows operating system, and knowledgeable about image storage formats. At least limited programming proficiency is a plus.


•  Proactively pursue and qualify sales leads via demos at academic and industry meetings and location, telesales and email marketing
•  Generate new business leads by strategizing new applications for 3D VR image presentation
•  Manage time effectively, meet personal goals and work effectively with other members of the team
•  Vet leads based on sales and marketing-determined criteria
•  Strategize and institute varied modes of communication with potential customers, including webinars
•  Orchestrate discussions with senior executives around their business needs
•  Continually assess client requirements and expectations in order to pass new goals and feature ideas to the software development team; to accomplish this goal, must remain knowledgeable about new imaging technologies and modalities in biological science and biomedicine, and new methods for image analysis


•  A commanding desire to learn novel technologies and succeed in technology sales
•  Ability to establish principles and procedures to build an efficient sales structure
•  Ability to develop sales relationships with clients and solicit referrals
•  Strong verbal and written communication skills
•  High level of self-motivation and a strong work ethic, positive attitude and friendly demeanor
•  Ability to learn CRM software system for to manage sales events
•  General comfort utilizing VR and interest in the technology

C++ Virtual Reality Software Engineer – Multiple Positions Available

We’re seeking a motivated C++ programmer with professional experience in 3D graphics to advance our sleek codebase with killer features.


•  Expand improve and maintain the feature set of our flagship VR application
•  Produce highly performant code
•  Help drive our features roadmap
•  Port our VR application to all the major VR headsets
•  Collaborate with research scientists in computer science, neuroscience, biology and more
•  Support users when needed

Minimum Requirements

•  BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
•  3+ years of professional experience developing in C++, ideally including C++ 11
•  3D Math & 3D Graphics knowledge (OpenGL or DirectX, shaders programming)
•  Profiling and debugging experience
•  Ability to work in a collaborative environment

Bonus Requirements

•  Experience with developing cross-platform applications
•  Experience with OpenCL or CUDA
•  Some experience with JavaScript and Python
•  Knowledge of Computer Vision, Image Processing, or Machine Learning
•  Interest in the biological sciences
